How to Restore the iPhone if you have forgotten your passcode
If you are unable to unlock the iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, even after troubleshooting, you can put it into the recovery mode, which will erase all the current content and settings.

To restore your device from a backup, you will need to have one already stored in iCloud or on your computer.
Before you start, make sure you have access to a Mac or Windows computer and a compatible cable.
If you do not have a computer then you can borrow one from a friend or go to an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
If you are using macOS Catalina, you will use the Finder to complete this process. If you are using macOS Mojave or earlier, or if you are on a Windows computer, you will use iTunes. Your device will need to be turned on.
1. Press and hold the side button and one of the volume buttons till the power-off slider appeared.
2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
3. Hold down the side button and then connect your device to your computer.
4. Make sure to keep holding the side button until you see the recovery mode on the screen.

Note:- If the download takes longer than 15 minutes, your device will exit recovery mode. To re-enter recovery mode, you will need to repeat the steps described in the previous section.
6. After the restore is completed, your device will restart. Be sure not to disconnect your device while it is restoring.

If you have an iPad with a Home button, iPhone 6s or earlier, or a 6th generation iPod Touch or earlier, then do the following:

2. Next, power off your device.
3. Hold down the Home button and then connect your device to your computer.
4. Make sure to keep holding the Home button until you see the recovery-mode screen.
5. This may take a moment or two.
Restore the device to factory settings
