Instagram is launching in-app QR codes letting users open a profile from any camera app

Instagram is bringing the QR codes to the app so users can now generate the QR codes that will be scannable from any 3rd-party supporting camera apps.

This feature will allow businesses to print their QR code and have customers scan it to open their Insta account easily.

How to use the QR code Feature?

To use the feature then follow the steps below:

1. Make sure that you have the latest version of the app.

2. Go to the Settings menu on your profile.

3. Now tap on the QR code.

Note: You might still see the Nametag there, but eventually it will become a QR code.

4. Then you can share or save the image.
