Samsung Galaxy Fold 3
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is coming with incredible upgrades from its predecessor and we'll be sharing the details right here in this post.
So today we've got news of more upgrades to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 hardware that's going to make it their best Folding phone yet.
Galaxy Fold 3 Design
So the first story of the day is it was still getting many blogs issuing reports of the new dual Folding phone being the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.
The Z Fold 3 is going to be a similar design to before Ben Geskin tweeted earlier this year what he believes the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is going to look like this is pretty much the same design.
But with many improvements in the hardware, we of course had previous leaks that stated that we could be getting improvements in the storage department.
And that while we're hoping for a one terabyte version, we will at least get 256 GB.
Galaxy Fold 3 Camera
We also have many rumors claiming improved cameras on the Z Fold 3 but there's no real evidence to back them up.
The cameras used in the Fold are always good but they aren't the very latest sensor and the most expensive available.
But the problem is with an already expensive product line things like the latest sensor and lenses just bump the cost up even higher.
Galaxy Fold 3 Display
Now arguably the most important part of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the display.
And we had a tweet from display analyst Ross Young that tells us of some great improvements here.
He advises that the Samsung display is going to be removing the polarizer in the display of the Galaxy's Z Fold 3 while he goes into a lot of technical detail in his post.
In simple terms, the polarizer reduces the reflection but in turn, it also reduces the brightness and of course makes the display thicker by removing the polarizer.
It means we get increased brightness a thinner display and because of this we also get better power consumption.
Now while this should reduce the display thickness by 20 we also have to remember that the protective layer of ultra-thin glass is reportedly being increased to accommodate for S pen support.
So this could even it out and end up being the same thickness.
Now nevertheless The display improvements are always welcomed.
And with these on top of S pen support in an in-display selfie camera then the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is really going to show the company's great innovations.
In-Display Selfie Camera
The leaks are also pointing to the Z Fold 3 being the first Samsung phone to debut the in-display selfie camera.
But Samsung previously stated that if it does degrade the display or the photo quality then it won't be used in the final product so it isn't guaranteed.
Overall & Launch Date
Overall though it's looking like a great new addition to the Fold family and one that I'm looking forward to seeing.
While the launch date hasn't been leaked just yet many are expecting it to be in the second half of this year.
